601 Austin is a technology workplace located within a thirty-five-story building in Austin, Texas. The graphic narrative throughout the workplace celebrates the core Texas regions: Hill Country, Big Bend, and Gulf Coast.
Using abstracted forms, photographic treatment, and various textures, the design transforms the essence of Texas desert wildflowers, Marfa thunderstorms, hiking trails, and seashell collecting into a compelling and unique visual experience. The workplace scope includes wallcoverings, glass graphics, floor graphics, stair graphics, wayfinding, and ADA signage systems.
The branding concept for The Eddy Cafe in the building incorporates a soft color palette, organic graphic elements, and typeface design that discreetly harmonizes with the architectural motif centered on the Texas River. The design encompasses logo and signage design, cafe entry signage, servery signage, wall graphics, floor graphics, and more.
